Day 47/90
Another great workout at the park. I walked up this steep hill, jogged the track twice, and walked/jogged one of the trails. When I made a bowl of oatmeal and told my dad it was only 150 calories, he actually told me that he was glad to see I was staying on top of things. It meant a lot to hear him say that since he’s my biggest critique.

Day 45/90
I must say, for me to be half way through three months of fitness, I definitely had a great workout. I went back to the same park from yesterday, only this time I did a lot more jogging. I finally worked out again after chilling for four days. I went walking with my dad and aunt at this really nice park down the street from my house. We walked for an hour and a half! Day 37/90
Another day on the stairs, only today I changed it up a bit. I went with one of my friends and her two sisters. We walked up the stairs once, walked down, and then jogged/walked up the trail that wraps around the hill and stairs. Made it back to Aztec Mountain and walked it about 1 1/2 times. I know that sounds weird, but it’s because I didn’t go all the way up the second time lol. While I was there, I ran into a girl who went to my high school and she was working out with a group of people. She told me they meet on Mondays at the bottom of the stairs at 9am. I AM BACK IN ACTION FOLKS!
That’s right. I made myself get off the couch today to workout. My brother and I went back to AZTEC MOUNTAIN (the name my dad gave to the crazy stairs). We walked up them twice and it felt GREAT. I thought it was going to be cold outside, so I wore a sweater, but it ended up being pretty warm and I sweated a lot. I plan on going back tomorrow. Hopefully by the end...
I’ve come to the conclusion that working out is a lot easier when it’s NOT December, and when I’m at school with a gym that’s only 5 minutes away.

I haven’t worked out yet, and it’s 8pm. BUT, I’m going skating tonight and I’m excited. I’m wearing sweats just to make sure I’m comfortable so I can get a good roll on. I am going to sweat tonight and skate with a workout in mind. So no resting, unless I have to because of couples skating, or trios, etc.

Day 31/90
Today wasn’t anything special. I was supposed to go walking with my dad and aunt, but I just couldn’t get up this morning. So instead, I just did some strength training, focusing on my legs. I did donkey kicks, dead lifts, and sumo squats. Better than nothing.
I’ll be back in the gym tomorrow to do cardio.
College Fad
Like sushi, I think being healthy is a college thing. Of course, there are a few people who enter college having already lived a healthy lifestyle, or other who maintained a nice figure through sports, but I don’t think anyone really gets into health the way they do once they hit college.

I know, I’ve skipped a lot of days.
